Eyelids rise & the shallow is deep
ill fated desires vanished the creeps
deceit that transended the real meaning of me
pain & love lost caused love that be found
after deceit came strength indeed it came around
morbid hauntings of greif & disbelief
a rush to my veins caused blood clots to my knees
for better, for worse, your never the same..
you were decieved before strength sent relief
a changing of the leaves, once coloured but now i can see
nature retrieved sending envy decending
elevating, which is to be soon swallowed whole
why they hung around like flies; stung like bees
their eyes were blue, found soon to be green
then i opened my eyes from all that i'd missed
from reality in a far away dream
in my mind i believed
one by one i opened my eyes..
suddenly & it was seen.
